Just a quick post to say hello! We just returned from a fabulous and extremely tiring ski trip to Wolf Creek with my parents, Benny, and the Walker grandparents. We left Thursday morning at 5am in the Morris' Navigator, picked Mommy up in Albuquerque, and arrived in Pagosa Springs at 7:30pm NM time. We hit the slopes Friday morning despite the blizzard and managed to ski Friday and Saturday in white-out conditions with high temperatures in the low teens! Then the skies cleared on Sunday, the temperature soared to almost 20 degrees, and we threw down some pretty nice runs. Obviously, I was ablet o catch some pretty nice air! Then we loaded up the car and headed back for Dallas at 5am on Monday.

Walker tolerated the long car ride pretty well, and then he had to adjust to the altitude on Friday. It made him feel icky. I think he might have been irritated because by the time he finally got to feeling like himself again, we loaded him back up in the car and headed back to Dallas. I'm assuming the irritation based on the crying he did for the last hour and a half of the drive home! He was so happy to finally be back in his own little round crib!
Aaron had to get up this morning at 2am to drive to Oklahoma for a three day business trip. Poor guy. I think he is in a hotel in Oklahoma City sleeping as we speak! All the rest of the trippers (I'm speaking for those in Dallas) went to work and school as usual, however we all felt like we had been at a slumber party. So, we had a blast in the mountains, and now we are only bummed that it is over!

After CO, I get irritated, too, when I have to go back home. So, Walker is just a normal kid. Sorry hubby had to immediately go off to a business trip. No time for reentry.

You sound just like your mother, worrying about people getting bikes! Glad you had fun skiing, we are going on our own little mini ski trip (two days skiing, one night in a hotel) starting tomorrow!

Wow, that sounds like a ton of fun! We don't get to go skiing, but we will get to at least go to the snow on Sunday! Congrats on those nice jeans by the way, that sounds exciting! :)

That's cool about skiing but not as cool that Walker got a little sickly.

So where are the pictures of Walker in the snow and all bundled up?
