Mother's Day

We had a lovely first Mother's Day for me! Walker and Aaron made me mini-french toast for breakfast and gave me some lavender lotion and shower gel. Then we had a wonderful church service with a great sermon and a semi-cooperative Walker. He, in honor of mother's day, I guess, has become more attached to us, and he won't really stay in the nursery at church. So, we took him with us this Sunday, and he made it almost to the sermon before he got upset and had to be walked in a stroller. We walked in the stroller in the halls for a little while, and then I handed him off to a nursery worker to walk the halls and went back in for the rest of the service. After church we went to Macaroni Grill with Mommy, Daddy, Lindsay, Justin, and Ben. That was fun. We ate on the patio and opened gifts. Then we all went back to my parent's house and chatted and played with Walker for quite a while. Finally, to finish the day, Aaron and I went to one of my good friend's wedding yesterday evening. It was beautiful at the arboretum with perfect weather and good food and cake. Mommy and Daddy went too, so we even had our own little fun group for hanging out. The weather here has been so nice that we have been outside tons. We had a fish fry Friday night outside, grilled hotdogs on Saturday, and then had the day of dining outside on Sunday. I am just itching to get into the pool, which is the BEST I have ever seen it due to the new salt water system, but we are enjoying the spring temps while they last! Here are a couple of Walker shots, and, for your viewing pleasure, we uploaded pictures to www.walgreens.com. Sounds like a good first Mother's day! I know what you mean about the pool, only ours isn't actually up yet. As always, Walker is adorable!

I checked out the pictures. My favorite is the Walkman Pumping Iron that you also posted on the website. I am glad he's a happy baby.

Sounds like y'all have been having tons of fun! I thought the picture that Uncle Randy said was Walker pumping iron, was actually Walker holding a door knob, pretending to be a repair man!
