Hello everyone! Since I seem to start every recent post with an apology for the length of time since my last post, I will not do that this time. I'm sure you have all been able to get on with your life even though you have not been able to see pictures of Walker! We have been having a fun fall.
We did complete the State Fair 5K with Lindsay and Justin, however, we did not run in it. I think Lindsay and I finished in about 40 minutes, with the boys somewhere right around us. Aaron and I have no excuse, but Lindsay had to run 9 miles the next day and decided to take it easy to walk with me and chat during the 5K. It was actually quite fun, and now we have an ugly T-shirt to prove that we occasionally excercise. We also got State Fair tickets for doing the race, so Lindsay, Justin, Aaron, Walker, and I went to the fair after the race. It was the most fun we have had at the Fair in a long while. We saw the flying dogs show, the animal barnyard (which Walker loved -- he can answer "moo" now when you ask him what the cow says), the car shows, the bake contests, craft contests, and of course, we ate way too much fried food. All in all, it was quite a fun and exhausting day!
This weekend was Ben's 18th birthday! Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday to me that he was crawling around in his cow costume on his first birthday. He had a party at this fun mexican food restaurant in Mockingbird Station on Saturday night, which we all attended. Then last night we celebrated Ben and Walker's birthdays with the family (-L&J who couldn't come due to L's busy week and studying schedule). Ben got some pretty sweet gifts from friends and family, but I don't think any compared with Walker's broom! Aaron is plugging away at school. He is enjoying most of his classes, and we are pretty excited that he is half-way through his next-to-last semester of seminary! Just 7 months away from having a Masters of Theology! He is meeting with some men from our church on Mondays to learn how to write the liturgy for our services so that he can get involved in that, and he is considering doing an internship with our church when he graduates. We are not sure of our exact path when he finishes at DTS, so please be praying for direction and wisdom.

Thanks for the update! But where are the Walker pictures?!
I really can't believe Ben is 18. That just doesn't seem possible!
Glad you had fun at the race and the fair! :)
I commented a long time ago but blogger was screwing around or something.... Oh! I remember what I said now. I thought that there were certainly alot of things about cows in this post.
